kcroftUncategorized

CUPE Local 5033 has come such a long way in this past year.

With Kelsie Croft being elected onto the CUPE NS Women’s Committee as their young worker at last years convention, this year the activism didn’t stop there.

Kristi Corkum was successfully elected onto CUPE Nova Scotia’s Health & Safety Committee as their young worker, and we couldn’t be more proud of her!  Kristi is very passionate about the health & safety of members, and we know that she will bring lots of great input & knowledge to this great committee! Congratulations Sister.

Along with Kristi’s rewarding accomplishment, Kelsie Croft was also elected as the Halifax Area Vice President for the CUPE NS Long Term Care Committee, as well as successfully being elected as CUPE Nova Scotia Communication’s Editor, which has allowed her a seat on the CUPE NS Executive!

We couldn’t be prouder of the accomplishments we’ve have made, and how strong the activist have grown within the membership.

Keep up the good work CUPE 5033!
